Booking Policy
Your appointment
All new client forms & consent forms must be completed within 48hrs after booking your appointment, this is to give us a chance to read your forms, If we do not receive these your appointment may be subject to cancellation.
For Waxing; Please ensure you have a minimum of 5mm of hair growth for a good result from your treatment. This will take 3-4 weeks from any previous form of hair removal such as razors etc, 4 weeks minimum required between waxes. Do not trim or tidy the area to be waxed.
For Electrolysis; Please ensure you have a minimum of 4-5 days growth (stubble that is tweezable, not just a black dot on the skin) for a good result from your treatment.
If I can’t see which direction the hair growth is going in, I will be unable to tell where your follicle is located. This is for your safety during treatment, and also how successful the treatment will be.
For Advanced Blemish Consultations; Please ensure you have not gone to the gym, or done any activity that day that raises your heart rate or blood pressure significantly, and have not applied tan or any products that change the natural skin colour or block pores. Please come makeup free in any areas to be treated.
All appointments require a 50% non-refundable booking fee at time of booking. This will be deducted from your remaining amount at time of booking the remainder is payable, in salon at the end of your appt.
Please Note – *Non- refundable is Non-refundable* – regardless of notice given. WW implements this due to running costs and having an online booking facility & card processing services. So please be mindful of this before you book. If you do not accept this term, please do not book.
Electrolysis consultations (hair & blemish) are 100% payable in full upon booking. This is not redeemable against the cost of any future treatments as it is a mini service/treatment in itself, and therefore is charged accordingly. This is still a NO Obligation Consultation, and you are not required to go ahead with the treatments suggested after the consult
I accept appointments up to 6 weeks in advance online (8 weeks in summer).
If you can’t see an appointment available at your preferred time, we are fully booked at that time. Please feel free to use the wait list as we may get cancellations near to the date you require
A minimum of 48 hrs notice is required for cancellations or reschedules.
Clients are able to self- move their appointments online before the 48hr notice applies. Clients are encouraged to self- move if they cannot attend, rather than message the salon, as we are not a 24hr service, & will only deal with messages within working hours, if you hit the notice because you did not self- move, you may be charged.
If you are unable to move because there are no suitable slots left to move to & you have left it too late to notify the salon within opening hours, you may also be charged (this includes if we are fully booked) so please allow as much notice as possible.
The waiting list will not automatically cancel or remove previous booked appointments that no longer suit your schedule. It is a list only and is not interactive.
Please MOVE or PUSH out your appointment to a different date first, then add yourself to the waiting list. If no suitable slots are available to move to and you can’t make your appointment please contact the salon to cancel.
Any associated booking fees will then be held as a credit on the system, and you can either contact the salon to rebook to use your credit, or you can choose to book online* (*an automatic new booking fee will be taken, as the system cannot search for credits) and you can use any accrued credit to pay off the balance of your appointment in salon only. Credits can only be applied in salon.
See waitlist help guide in blogs.
Clients cannot self- cancel online. You can only move or reschedule (with notice). If you no longer want your appointment and or do not wish to rebook. Please contact the salon to cancel, by text, WhatsApp or phone call – please do not message via social media as this is not a monitored form of contact.
Please contact the salon to change or reduce treatments, by text or phonecall or what’s app. 48hrs notice is required. We will respond during salon hours.
Less than 48hrs will incur the original booking price to be charged. Do not do this yourself online please.
This is so as not to affect your booking fee (as the system attaches the fee to the appointment, not to your client file, it doesn’t know you). Please, remember that it is a system, it has limitations, so please contact us, so, we can change it on your behalf. TIA!
Cancellations 24-48hrs – The non- refundable booking fee will be retained, and no further charge will be applied.
Less than 24hrs, same day cancellations, or No-shows will be charged at 100% of the total appointment cost.
We take card details via Stripe card capture at time of reservation, a PCI compliant encrypted payment service (read about Stripe security here)
We will not accept future bookings from you until any outstanding charges are paid in full.
The booking system will allow you to reschedule/move your appointment outside the 48hr notice period for your existing booking (see cancellation section for details)
Please note if you continually move your slot, or seem to be abusing the system for reschedules, you may be charged an admin fee or have your booking cancelled.
I understand that the unexpected can occur. Services, are time specific, we can usually only allow for a few minutes, we may have clients after your appointment, and it’s unfair to them, if it has a knock on effect.
So if you are late, you may have your treatment shortened or a service removed.
If you are more than 10 minutes late, with no contact. Your appointment will be cancelled and classed as a no show and you will be charged in full.
If you are late through no fault of your own and you have called, we will always strive where we can to do everything possible to accommodate you if there’s time. All we ask is to be kept in the loop. Thanks so much. x
We like children, but not in a salon! I am unable to allow children or babies of any age into the salon. I have no waiting area, and a lot of potentially hazardous chemicals, & equipment in the vicinity. It is also not appropriate given the services I provide to have children on site. You may be turned away from your appointment if this request is disregarded & full payment will be required.
Please arrive alone for your appointment. If friends and family are driving you, we ask that they wait in their vehicle, or in the local pub if they prefer. If you have a care-giver or (medical) support person, that needs to attend, please let me know on your consultation form.
One last request -as this is a home based studio, please do not block any of the neighbour’s driveway areas, even for a short period of time (even if you are sat in your car). Ample parking is provided and my own vehicles in the driveway do not move, so you do not have to worry about blocking us in. If you arrive early and another client is in the space, please park on the grass verge to the left hand side (facing the house), then move to the driveway when they leave or park behind the other client and swap with them when they leave. I appreciate you being kind on this matter as we do not want to offend anyone by hindering their access.
Thanks so much for your understanding.
Do not come to the salon, if you have any symptoms. You must reschedule if you are able to with notice as soon as you start to feel unwell. If you’re coming to the end of an illness or if anyone in your household is ill, please wear a mask into salon to keep us safe.
If you are visibly ill you will be turned away, and refused service.
Booking policies will be applicable for under 48hrs notice. There is one of me and a lot of you. I hope you can understand and appreciate why we need to charge.
Please note – We are now up to 3 years of dealing with Covid & other respiratory illnesses, & it looks like it’s here to stay for the moment. I am not being mean, or uncaring this is how we need to survive, moving forward as a small business. If you went to work, and your boss stated that due to not being busy, you’d only be paid half for the day, or not at all, you’d be upset. This is the same principle, this is how I pay my bills and keep the business in stock. Thank you for your understanding.

What My Clients Say
Viktoria Byrne
This is a great business. Estie is s true professional in her field. You are definitely in expert hands. She takes her profession seriously and is always training and developing her skills with new courses. I always feel I’m in a safe pair of hands and get excellent service and results. I have been a regular, monthly customer for over a year and would not go anywhere else. Great value for the services given.
Sue Sansome
I had my very first waxing appointment with Estie this week, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. If you’ve ever felt nervous or hesitant about intimate waxing, Estie is the person to see—she immediately puts you at ease with her calm and friendly approach. She takes the time to explain every step, offers great advice, and makes the whole process feel surprisingly easy and comfortable.
Monika Blythe
best of the best. I always look forward to my appointments, Estie is such a kind person, there’s no awkwardness (even when you lie on the bed half naked!), I can cry, I can laugh and there’s no judgment. Besides the beautiful human being Estie is, she’s also the best wax lady I’ve ever been to. She KNOWS her stuff and makes me feel good about myself, wax and therapy in one
